What are Peer Recovery Services

Peer Recovery Services believe that people with substance use and/or co-occurring psychiatric difficulties can and do recover and live meaningful lives with support from their peers

Peer Recovery Services are provided by individuals who are in recovery from substance use or co-occurring mental health

Peer Recovery Services strive to support people with substance use and/or mental health challenges with opportunities for recovery provided by others who have experienced similar struggles

​

Peer Recovery Services provides recover-based program development, supervision and leadership to those who struggle with substance abuse and/or co-occurring psychiatric difficulties

​

Peer Recovery Services include supported peer recovery education and advocacy , community inclusion activities and focused peer support
